21, 2009 Transcript Alexis: See, there it is again. It looks to me like a plastic surgery scar. I'm sure she looked like Emily to begin with. I want you to see it, Nikolas. Rebecca: Don't you ever touch me again, lady. Nikolas: Alexis was out of line, but you overreacted. Alexis: She has a scar on her hairline. Rebecca: Which you just assume is plastic surgery. Wow, you're a real piece of work, you know that? Nikolas: Well, what is it? What's the scar? Rebecca: When I was 10, I fell off my bike. I landed on my head. Alexis: You expect us to believe that? Rebecca: Oh, go ahead, pull out your checkbook, Nikolas. Why don't you hire a P.I. to dig up the whole story. I fell on the sidewalk by the Kramer’s front yard. Mrs. Kramer picked me up, rushed me to the emergency room where a special doctor stitched me up. I think he was a plastic surgeon. Wow, Alexis, you're right. I have had plastic surgery. Alexis: I'm not buying any of it. Rebecca: Obviously, no matter what I say, you're going to turn it against me. No-win situation. Nikolas: Rebecca, I want to believe you, but she has every right -- Rebecca: You know what? I don't give a damn. I moved here to work at the hospital. And then right away, you were right after me, stalking me, obsessed with me, wouldn't leave me alone. The truth is I felt sorry for you. And then you helped me through my cancer scare and I was grateful, but now it's over. I'm done. Rebecca: You've known me for months and in all that time, I've been totally straight with you. If you don't trust me now, then you never will. Nikolas: I think it's understandable that I have questions. Rebecca: Yeah, and I've answered them. There's nothing more I can say, but you're still suspicious. I mean, why should I be surprised? Your family is so screwed up. There's no way you could be normal. Psychotic grandmother, paranoid aunt -- Alexis: You can call me whatever names you like. I have every intention of protecting my nephew. Rebecca: Oh, protect him -- great. Protect him from what? Obviously, I'm supposed to be some evil manipulator who's taking advantage of your attachment to your ex-wife, but name one thing that I've tried to do to you. Alexis: Look, she obviously knows that the best defense is a good offense. Rebecca: Maybe you're so obsessed with Emily because she was the one person who could make you believe that you were than all of this, that somehow you could avoid the curse of being yet another whack-job in a whole line of crazies. I don't know. I don't care. Alexis: You keep saying that, but you're still here. Rebecca: I never asked you for help. You came to me. Do me a favor. Leave me alone. Nikolas: If she is innocent, I may regret what I just did. Alexis: Oh, good. I got your call. You said you had something important you wanted to talk about? Jax: Yes, but before we get into that, I have something very exciting, very unexpected to tell you. Alexis: Whoo! What is it? Jax: Carly's pregnant. [Alexis gasps] Jax: We're having a baby. Alexis: Wow! Jax: I know. Alexis: You know what? I'm happy for you. I know how much you wanted to have a baby. Jax: Thanks. I mean, we didn't even think it was possible. I mean, I completely put it out of my mind, and then just like that, out of the blue, it happened. Alexis: Really? You think it just happens out of the blue? Jax: Look, I know Carly is not your favorite person, but I am so happy. I'm so in love. Alexis: Oh, I'm so happy for you and I 'm so glad you're in love, and you're going to be a wonderful father. You deserve all the joy in the world. Jax: Thanks. Which brings me to the next thing. I'm keeping a secret from Carly. Jax: Jerry is alive. Alexis: Oh, see, I'm not that surprised. Jax: Right. Alexis: They didn't find his body after the boat explosion, so, you know, it's just the kind of thing he would concoct to make a clean escape. Jax: Yeah, well, he had a lot to escape from. Alexis: Look, we both know that he was involved in various criminal activities. Jax: He was also involved with Ian Devlin. He was partnered with him, which means he was partly responsible for Michael being shot. Alexis: How did you find that out? Jax: He sent me a DVD explaining it all. And then I had a face-to-face with Jerry in Michael’s room at the Aftercare Institute. Alexis: Wow. I'm sorry. I know that despite everything he's done, he's your brother, but man, I mean, the fact that he's involved with Michael’s -- this is just really hard to process. Jax: I know. I was going to tell Carly everything, but now we're having a baby. I can't let Jerry ruin our happiness. Alexis: You're going to keep this a secret? Jax: Well, yeah. You have to as well. Carly can't ever know that Jerry was involved in Michael’s shooting.
