Kristina:
Hey, Michael.
Michael:
Finally. A visitor that I actually want to see.
Kristina:
You're still hating it here?
Michael:
I mean, there's two gears here. Staring at the ceiling counting
dots, or killing myself in physical therapy.
Kristina:
Hmm. How about a little something to take the edge off?
Michael:
Are you serious?
Kristina:
I thought it might help. But if you're afraid of getting caught...
Michael:
No, no, not at all. Um -- but I can't light it up in here.
Kristina:
Your wheelchair's right outside the door.
Carly:
Michael, I have to talk to you about a few things. Hey, Kristina.
What's going on?
Michael:
I'm so busted. I asked Kristina if she could take me to the vending
machines because I have this sudden craving for a candy bar.
Kristina:
I can't blame you. I mean, after all the hospital mystery meat?
Carly:
Okay. Well, would you mind going and getting him a candy bar? He
likes the ones with almonds. You and I have to have a little talk.
Michael:
I'm tired of talking.
Carly:
So force yourself. Please?
Michael:
I can save you time. You want me home with you.
Kristina:
Almonds, it is.
Patrick:
Oh, great.
Kristina:
I'll be back in a while.
Patrick:
Carly, well, Michael's test results have come back, and it's really
good news.
Robin:
Your numbers are good. Good enough to get out of here.
Kristina:
You scared me.
Jason:
Where's Michael?
Kristina:
I just saw him in the lobby. He was leaving with his mom. He asked
me to check just in case he left anything behind. Guess he didn't.
Hey, hands off!
Kristina:
It's not what you think.
Jason:
Where did you get it?
Kristina:
Why, you want to go bust some kneecaps and make points with my father?
Michael's in a lot of pain from his physical therapy. I asked a
friend of a friend to help him out. I don't even remember the guys
name.
Jason:
Well, Michael doesn't need this.
Kristina:
I hope you're not going to lecture me on the evils of pot smoking.
Jason:
Just keep it away from Michael.
Kristina:
Or what? I can't believe you stand here
with your scary look of disapproval when everyone knows you kill
people. Why don't you stay away from Michael?
Michael:
Hey, what are you doing here?
Kristina:
I had to see you. Get in.
Michael:
I didn't know you drove.
Kristina:
I have my learner's permit.
Michael:
So did you get that joint from my hospital room?
Kristina:
That's why I had to see you. Jason showed up and saw me with it.
This is twice he's busted me on something.
Michael:
Well, at least Jason is not a snitch.
Kristina:
You didn't hear him. He's definitely telling my mom.
Michael:
How can he do that? They don't even like each other.
Kristina:
Jason has a reputation for telling the truth. My mom will believe
him.
Michael:
So what can she do?
Kristina:
I'll be so grounded. And I can't help it. It kills me to disappoint
her. That's why I need you.
Michael:
Look, I've got my own problems.
Kristina:
Jason will do anything for you. You have to ask him not to say anything.
Michael:
Hey, my mom's coming out of the house. Okay, let's go before she
sees me.
Michael:
All right, turn left here.
Kristina:
Where are we going?
Michael:
To Dad's house. Okay, go right here.
[Car
horn blows]
Michael:
Whoa, watch out. What are you doing?
Kristina:
Sorry. I'm just getting a feel for it.
Michael:
Is this your mom's car?
Kristina:
We keep it for Viola to run errands and drive us around. But she's
on a date, and Molly's at a sleepover. Mom's at work and thinks
I'm at the library studying.
Michael:
And you thought you'd be grounded for having a joint? You won't
see daylight for two months for that.
Kristina:
I'm driving under the speed limit. If you don't tell Dad how you
got to his place, no one has to know.
Michael:
Look, I'm older than you are. I should be driving.
Kristina:
I bet there's a lot I've done that you haven't.
Michael:
Whoa, whoa, whoa, look out, look out.
