Kristina: How did your volcano turn out?

Molly: Good. I had more baking soda lava than anyone else at science camp.

Alexis: Good for you.

Kristina: Nice.

Alexis: I can't wait to see the pictures. How was your horseback riding lesson?

Kristina: Fine.

Alexis: I can't wait to see you go over a double-oxer.

Kristina: It won't be that dramatic, unless Clipsy flashes back to his grand prix jumping days.

Alexis: I hope they don't have you on too much horse.

Kristina: He's a lot of fun.

Alexis: I'm sorry I missed your lesson.

Kristina: You shouldn't have to deal with the other parents staring and whispering with all that's going on.

Alexis: I really appreciate how both of you are dealing with this. And I know that it's not easy for either one of you, but I hope that the media, and even all the blogs, are moving on to something a lot more interesting, okay? Let's hope so anyway.

Diane: My friend, you have a very real disaster on your hands.

Diane: Kristina, Molly, you poor kids. This must be an unmitigated nightmare for the two of you. By the way, I hear that's very good.

Molly: It is.

Alexis: By the way, the kids are handling this very well. Thank you.

Diane: That means that no one in this room has turned on the television or logged on to the internet lately. Brace yourselves.

Alexis: You're kidding. Really?

Diane: Yeah.

Alexis: Girls, up, up. Go do something, anything. Hurry.

Molly: Is Mom in trouble?

Kristina: Don't worry.

Alexis: Are you kidding me? Really? Are you going to talk like that in front of my kids?

Diane: You should have sent those kids to summer camp in the Bahamas when this whole thing first broke. Now you cannot protect them from it.

Alexis: What happened?

Diane: In a word? E-mails.

Alexis: What e-mails?

Diane: The ones you supposedly sent to the mayor. Let's see, subject lines. Okay, "the night was beyond physical. It was electric."

Alexis: What?

Diane: "So that we can get as wild as you want. Oh, the always effective, "don't use your stupid wife as an excuse." In short, my friend, there appears to be ample evidence circulating online that you are an obsessed stalker who set up the mayor for spite.

Diane: An anonymous source in the mayor's office leaked those e-mails to the press sometime last night.

Alexis: I never wrote these e-mails.

Diane: They date back to the first night you slept with him.

Alexis: "Only" night that I slept with him, one time. It was a bad night. I told you. He's usually very officious, Floyd? He has another side to him.

Diane: Not to mention those bedroom eyes. Although, there's no mention of those in the e-mails.

Alexis: The only e-mails that I ever wrote to Floyd were grants or line-item budgets. That's it. And you better believe me.

Diane: I do believe you. These e-mails sound desperate and coy and made up somehow, but they were sent from your computer.

Alexis: That's impossible.

Diane: Don't bother. I can show them to you on any number of political websites, not to mention today's paper.

Alexis: Don't tell me. I don't want to see it. Oh, my God. There they are. There's, like, dozens of them. "Thinking of you." "All my love forever." "Call me." I don't talk like that. Who talks like that?

Diane: How long do your sent e-mails live?

Alexis: Forever, obviously.

Diane: "I can't get over you." "I just need to feel your touch one more time." "I need to feel your kiss everywhere."

Alexis: [Wretches] God.

Diane: Oh, my God. Geez, these sound like bad greeting cards sent from a lunatic. Who else has access to this computer?

Alexis: Nobody, nobody. I keep this thing very close to me. Kristina is the only one that knows it, and she would never do anything like that.

Diane: Well, then who would? Who else has a clear-cut motive? Maybe someone is trying to steal your job.

Alexis: Or maybe somebody is trying to frame me for Brianna Hughes' murder.

Alexis: Oh, boy, I don't want to have to upset you girls again, but I may have spoken a little too soon about the mayor situation. There are some rumors flying around, and they're saying that e-mails have been leaked and that Mommy sent them, but I didn’t.

Kristina: What do they say?

Alexis: They were saying that I was obsessed with the mayor and that apparently I sent them all along.

Kristina: You wouldn't write something like that.

Alexis: Of course I wouldn't do that, honey. I just am upset that this isn't over for both of you. But the most important thing is -- here you go, babe -- is that you know that I didn't write them, that people who are saying that I did are lying. Somebody else wrote it. I don't know who it is, but it's somebody who wants to make me look really bad.

Molly: Why?

Alexis: I don't know. I wish I did. But the truth will come out at some point, it's just going to take a lot longer than I thought.

Alexis: The A.D.A. just called and said that you brought in a suspect in a double homicide?

Mac: We have a guy under arrest.

Alexis: Why didn't you call me? Who is it?

Mac: Jason Morgan.

Alexis: I'll be right there.

Mac: That won't be necessary.

Alexis: It most certainly will be necessary. I'm the D.A. That's my job. And the next time, could you notify me, please?

Mac: Alexis, really, you don't have to come in, all right? Spend some time with your kids.

Alexis: I have a job to do and I intend to do it. I have to go to work. All right, I promise you I won't take long. We are going to get through this. I love you both.

Molly: Mom's in bad trouble, isn't she?

Kristina: Please, Mom's the D.A. That job is her whole life. She'll never let anything mess it up.

Diane: We have two Zacchara soldiers dead in the woods with a load of drugs.

Jason: I had nothing to do with the drugs. You know that.

Diane: Is that why you killed them, because they were trying to move drugs into Port Charles?

Jason: Do you really want me to answer that?

Diane: Okay, I have gone above and beyond while on your retainer, Jason. I have completely turned my personal life upside down. I have turned a blind eye to a long list of hypotheticals, and I have always gotten you out of trouble.

Jason: Mm-hmm.

Diane: Now I need a favor in return.

Jason: Okay, what?

Diane: Stay in lockup for a week.

Jason: What? Why would I do something like that?

Diane: Hear me out. Hear me out. I am sure you have heard about Alexis and the mayor and the dead mistress and the disastrous e-mails. The sharks are circling over at City Hall, and Alexis needs a win badly. If you were to allow the PCPD to keep you incarcerated for a week, it would at least look like Alexis is being tough on crime.

Jason: I cannot stay in jail for a week.

Diane: I strongly urge you to reconsider. You'd rack up points with the D.A. Plus, you could use the karma.

Alexis: I understand Mr. Morgan's counsel is in with him, which is great. It will save time.

Mac: You're not assigned to this case.

Alexis: I'm the D.A. I assign the cases.

Mac: Not anymore. City council took a vote of no confidence in you. If you don't resign, you're going to be fired.

Patrick: Why didn't you tell me Alexis killed someone?

Robin: Luis Alcazar. She pushed him off a balcony and pled temporary insanity. She claims she was defending Kristina.

Patrick: Andrea Floyd has never had a parking ticket. It makes killing Brianna Hughes a stretch.

Robin: Well, Luis Alcazar's death was an isolated incident.

Patrick: So what if she has another episode? She's already proven she's capable of murder.
