"When it's Time to Worry, I Will Let You Know"

Kiefer: Ahh! How can K be so selfish? You know, I put my ass on the line for her, and she just takes off without a word. [Sighs] Look, I'm -- I'm sorry. I did not mean to do that. Oh, man, there is glass all over this place. I don't know what got into me. You know, it's just the thought of Kristina being out there somewhere. You know, all the things that can happen to her. And I hate how everyone just keeps saying it's all gonna be okay so we don't worry. Because I am worried.

Molly: I'm worried about Kristina, too.

[Kiefer sighs]

Kiefer: I just wish there was something I can do to help her. Is there anything else you can think of? Some way I can get in touch with her?

[Footsteps]

Alexis: What's going on?

Kristina: This is a lot nicer than where we were staying. It's going to be so much easier with Jerry to help us.

[Glass crunching]

Kiefer: This is all my fault, Ms. Davis. A glass slipped out of my hand. I -- I didn't even know I'd picked it up. It's just I've been -- I've been so worried about Kristina. Of course, nothing compared to what you must be going through, especially during this difficult time. But if there is any way that my parents or I can be of any help --

Alexis: That's okay.

Kiefer: Please.

Alexis: Thank you, Kiefer. It's being handled.

Kiefer: Yeah. And of course, I'll pay for the glass.

Alexis: Uh, it's all right. We'll take care of it.

Kiefer: I just wish there was some way I can help Kristina.

Molly: Sam has gone to look for her. I know she'll find Kristina and bring her home.

Kiefer: Then I'll stop worrying if you will, too. And when you hear from Kristina, tell her I miss her.

Molly: I will.

Kiefer: Okay, then. I guess I've done enough damage. Again, Ms. Davis, I apologize.

Alexis: It's all right. Really. We'll take care of it. Thank you, Kiefer. Okay, so I'll clean this up in a minute. Keep your shoes on so you don't get hurt.

[Glass crunching]

Alexis: You okay?

Molly: I'm fine.

[Alexis sighs]

Alexis: Come here, baby. Mmm. I wish we could talk to her and tell her that everything's going to be all right and that we miss her and we want her home.

Molly: I still don't understand why Kristina would run away.

Alexis: Oh, sweetie.

Kristina: I'm just glad things are actually starting to work out. I figured I was going to have to get a job as a housekeeper or mucking fish or something. And I would have done it, but hanging out at a resort being a cabana girl sounds a lot more appealing. And Jerry's the one we have to thank for that.

Michael: But why? You know, why's he doing all this? Putting us up in this place, finding us jobs. I mean, there's got to be a reason.

Kristina: Maybe Jerry feels sorry for us. Maybe he's been where we are and knows what it's like.

Michael: You don't think it's a little weird that he happened to show up exactly when we needed him?

Kristina: So we got lucky.

Michael: I don't buy it.

Kristina: Why are you so suspicious? You're turning out to be a real problem.

Jerry: You're turning out to be a real problem.

Michael: Wait. He said the same thing.

Kristina: Who?

Michael: Jerry. I remember him saying the same thing to me -- that, you know, that I turned out to be a real problem. I think Jerry was there when I was in a coma.

Alexis: Okay, I think that's most of it. We'll get the rest later. How was camp?

Molly: Great. My project on pollution won first place.

Alexis: It did?

Molly: Mm-hmm. Mrs. Slott wants me to submit it for the state science fair.

Alexis: That's fantastic. I'm proud of you. Did the kids tease you again today?

Molly: I think Mrs. Slott yelled at them. Now they don't really talk to me at all.

Alexis: Oh. That's worse. I'll talk to you.

Molly: I'm fine. Morgan came over.

Alexis: He did? Oh, when?

Molly: After camp. We talked about things like Michael and Kristina. Then Sonny showed up. He wanted to talk to you. He took Morgan home.

Alexis: Okay. Well, I'm sure that they're as worried as I am, and I will give Sonny a call.

Molly: Mom, I'm not a baby. I know you don't like Sonny because he's a criminal and you try not to say anything in front of Kristina because he's her dad, but now you're the one who's a murder suspect. Doesn't that make you a criminal, too?

Alexis: No, 'cause I didn't do it. Honey, this is all really scary and confusing for you, I know that, and I promise you it's gonna get better.

Molly: But what if it doesn't? What if Kristina never comes home and you go to prison? Mom, what's gonna happen to me?

Alexis: Ohh.

Michael: No, it's too weird. Why would Jerry have visited me while I was in a coma?

Kristina: Maybe it was just a dream or something? Even if Jerry did visit, it wouldn't be that weird. He is your sort of uncle. I'm sure Jax came to visit a lot. Maybe he felt bad for you.

Michael: How much do you know about Jerry? About what happened to him?

Kristina: I don't know the details, but there was a boat explosion last winter, Sam and Jason were there, they made it off the boat but Jerry didn’t. Everybody thought he was dead. Sam doesn't like to talk about it much. All I know is she never liked my mom dating the guy.

Michael: Yeah, my dad and Jason never liked him either. Dad always warned me that Jerry couldn't be trusted.

Alexis: You are very smart and logical. You are able to think things through. That's why you did so good on your science project. Because you're able to gather all the information, piece it together to get the answer that you want, right? And I know that you do the same thing in life, too. You think ahead, you plan ahead, you're such a smart girl. Oh, baby. [Both sniffing]

Alexis: And I know this is really confusing for you because you're hearing a lot of different things from a lot of different people. So I'm going to tell you all you need to know, all right? Now listen... I am a very good attorney, all right? And I'm working with Diane, who's another very good attorney. I didn't do the things that they're saying that I did, and because we are so good at what we do, we are guaranteed to prove it, okay?

Molly: You're just saying that 'cause I'm a kid and you don't want me to worry.

Alexis: I know you'd never fall for that. So I'm going to make you a deal, okay? When it's time to worry, I will let you know. Deal?

Molly: Deal. [Kiss] [Spit]

Alexis: I love you, love you, love you, love you.

Michael: When something seems too good to be true, it is. Especially when it comes from Jerry Jacks.

Kristina: [Sighs] Has Jerry ever done one single thing to hurt you, ever?

Michael: No. I mean, he's always been great with me and Morgan. He used to take us out Jax’s boat.

Kristina: He's always been great to me, too. All he's done down here is help us. Maybe he gets why we don't want to go back.

Michael: Jerry isn't the kind of guy who does something without a reason. He took the entire metro court hostage. He nearly killed my mom and dad. And Sam.

Kristina: I know, but...

Michael: Look, even if he doesn't have some agenda going with us, we're better off on our own.

Kristina: In Mexico, with no place to live and no jobs?

Michael: We've got enough money, at least for now. I say we head to Cancun. I mean, I'm trying to keep you safe, Kris, you know? I can't go without you. So who are you going to trust? Jerry or me?

Kristina: [Sighs]

Kristina: "It's not fair to expect you to take care of us. We have to do this on our own. We hope you don't mind, we've taken what money we could find, and some things to sell. We'll find a way to pay you back. Thank you for all you've done for us, Michael and Kristina."

Michael: Perfect, short and to the point.

Kristina: I feel kinda bad.

Michael: Trust me; it's the right thing, us leaving Jerry.

Kristina: [Sighs] I hope so. Let's go.

Guard: You two need anything?

Michael: No, we were just going out.

Guard: Sorry. Mr. Jacks doesn't want you going anywhere.
