"He's Keeping Us Prisoner"

Download scenes here

Michael: Why doesn't Jerry want us to leave?

Guard: I'm sure he'll explain.

Kristina: Where is he?

Guard: Away, on business.

Michael: Well, when's he coming back?

Guard: He didn't say.

Michael: We have to get out of here.

Kristina: It's just a misunderstanding.

Michael: No, I grew up with guards. They're supposed to do what we want, not the other way around.

Kristina: But Jerry's been so nice to us. He saved us from those guys in the alley. He gave us this nice place to stay. He's gonna help us find jobs.

Michael: He's keeping us prisoner.

Kristina: Why would he do that?

Jerry: Jason Morgan! So lovely to see you again. Don't you love this spot I've chosen? I hear it's really, really good luck to die in a church.

Michael: Hey, did you find anything?

Kristina: There's no fire escape and that's the only door.

Michael: You know, we're 3 stories up and I barely even noticed where we were going when Jerry brought us up here.

Kristina: They rescued us, Michael. We both might be dead if not for Jerry.

Michael: Nobody but Jerry even knows we're in Mexico.

Kristina: Nobody will find us here. That's a good thing.

Michael: But you said there's phones in there, right, no PDAs, land lines, nothing?

Kristina: No, I didn't see any computers either.

Michael: What kind of businessman doesn't have phones or computers in his apartment?

Kristina: Maybe he carries a laptop and a cell.

Michael: Jax has a computer in every room. That's how it's supposed to be. We're trapped, Kristina. We need to stop wasting our time denying that. Jerry totally set us up.

Kristina: Jerry used to date my mother. He's your stepfather's brother. There's no way he's gonna hurt us.

Michael: Why can't we get out of this apartment? Why wouldn't he tell us that he was gonna have a guard there, unless the guard was there to keep us prisoner?

Kristina: Maybe he's protecting us from Dad's enemies. He has tons of them.

Michael: Dad hates Jerry. He always warned me that he couldn't be trusted, and this is why. Jerry likes playing games, and it's starting to look like we're a part of one.

Kristina: Jerry was always really nice to molly and me. He used to tell us about gambling in Monte Carlo. I think we should at least give him the chance to explain.

Michael: No, we can’t. Okay? We need to get out of this apartment before Jerry gets back.

Jerry: Hey, you know what? Sam assured me that you'd show up. And didn't she do a good job with the directions?

Jason: Where is she?!

Jerry: Worry, worry, worry. Sam will be perfectly safe as long as she cooperates. Ha ha! Think about it, Jason! If you kill me, you'll never see Sam again.

Jason: Tell me where she is!

Jerry: Ha ha. You have nothing to worry about. Sam is doing what Sam does best, and a good time is being had by all.

[Gunshot]

[Panting, heavy breathing]

Jerry: You know what? It's a shame about the car explosion. We could really have had a nice chat, you know. But now, another opportunity for a perfect conversation presents itself. You see, a badly damaged, brain-damaged boy and his sister striking it off on their own, and--and bravely, I might add. I mean, they're very, very devoted to one another, Michael and Kristina. Not that, you know, you'll ever see them again. Heh. You know, I thought it was rather sloppy the way you let them wander off on their own. I mean, you fail to realize how valuable they are to Sonny's enemies. And, uh, you know, it's a seller's market, so, uh, it's not very good for Michael and Kristina, but it's really very, very good for yours truly. Heh. Very happy. Very happy.

Mac: Why are you still here?

Diane: A.D.A. Addison wishes to question D.A. Davis yet again, and I'm here telling her that that's not going to happen.

Mac: The evidence against Alexis in the Brianna Hughes case is starting to come together.

Diane: Mac, she didn't do it. And there are simpler, much more effective ways of stealing your boss' job.

Louise: I'm not after anyone's job. But Ms. Davis has a long and well-documented history of emotional issues, not to mention her ties with organized crime. The mayor has taken a very strong position when it comes to law and order. And with that--

Diane: Oh, please. So the District Attorney murders the mayor's mistress. It doesn't even make sense. Especially when you try to support it with a coerced confession that Alexis ran down Sonny Corinthos' wife du jour.

Louise: Maybe she's jealous.

Diane: Maybe you'll be laughed out of court.

Louise: Maybe--

Diane: Excuse me? Pardon me?

Mac: Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. Enough. Both of you, all right? Go home.

Jerry: Hey, uh, you're awfully fond of Sam, aren't you? I understand why. She's a survivor, that one. I mean, she'll do whatever it takes, and that's exactly what she's doing right now. [Chuckles] Jason! Jasey-poo? Heh. Are you trying to be clever? Huh? The strong, silent type? Ooh, Sam would be really impressed with that.

Kristina: I don't like being kept in here either, but for all know, Jerry just wants to protect us. Just because Dad doesn't like him--

Michael: Just Dad? Jason, too.

Kristina: Jason hates almost everybody.

Kristina: But Jerry has been nice to both of us.

Michael: I mean, except for the fact that he has a guard out there watching us to keep us here without even telling us. Think about it. Nobody knows we're here. He can do anything he wants.

Kristina: But it doesn't make sense for Jerry to save us and then hurt us.

Michael: It might make sense to Jerry. We have to get out of here.

Kristina: Where will we go?

Michael: Away! I don't know! I don't know! Okay? All I know is that it was on me. I'm the one who ran Claudia off the road and now I have to fix it.

Kristina: No! I'm the reason you're in this mess.

Michael: Why do you keep saying that?

Jerry: You must really feel something for Sam... or you wouldn't be putting yourself through this. Right? Well, then, Sam is worth it, isn't she? I mean, where would you find such a willing and enthusiastic participant in mayhem? Right? And then there are the children, you know? Ha ha. I mean, you have to admit it, it was quite a windfall that I was put in a position to exploit these two--unh!

Jason: You tell me where she is. Now!

Jerry: If I tell you where Sam is, then the game will be over. Where's the fun in that, huh? Unh!

Michael: Why would you think any of this is your fault? I'm the one who's responsible for this.

Kristina: You can't be sure of that.

Michael: You don't run somebody off the road and cause their car to roll without noticing something happened. Okay, if somebody else did it, they'd have come forward by now.

Kristina: Michael, I have to tell you something.

Michael: What? We don't have time for this.

Kristina: I'm sorry. I'm slowing you down.

Michael: It's okay. Okay. Go tell the guard you're hungry. Just trust me. Just go do it.

[Door opens]

Kristina: Hello, sir. I'm really hungry and all there is to eat in here is caviar and crackers.

Guard: When my relief shows up, I'll send him out to get you something.

Kristina: Thank you.

Michael: Okay, so now we know there's one guard. All we have to do is take him down and run.

Kristina: Did you see how big that guy is? There's no way.

Michael: We have a better chance getting away from that guy than from Jerry. All we need is a plan.

Kristina: It won't work. It's too dangerous.

Michael: You got the money, right?

Kristina: Yes, but if this doesn't work, we're gonna make Jerry mad, and we might be worse off than we are now.

Michael: Then it better work. If we get split up, just head for the American consulate.

Kristina: It's too dangerous. It's a bad idea.

Michael: Well, you got a better one? Because I'm not staying here.

Kristina: Okay. Aah! Michael, help! Help!

Michael: Go, Kristina, run! Go now! Go!
